Hello, My name is Akio, and I have a passion for helping students become better students at whatever subject they may struggle at. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in management from the University of Phoenix and am currently enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University, pursuing a master's degree in elementary education. I am currently a substitute teacher at various school districts and enjoy interacting with students and being an important part of their lives. While substitute teaching, I have come across students who have struggled at various subjects and need more one-on-one attention from teachers or somebody who has knowledge of the a particular subject. I pride myself on being that person. I like to help students realize their true potential at whatever subject they wish to improve upon. My goal is to teach and equip them with learning strategies that build their confidence in academic coursework and can be used in the future in any subject. All students have the ability to succeed in the classroom at any subject, and I try my best to do whatever it takes to help every student improve. My motto for every student I encounter is, "Help Me Help You."
